She is famous for her roles as Lois Lane and Juliette Silverton/Eve, in The CWArrowverse television shows such as Superman & Lois. Tulloch was raised within Spain, Uruguay and Argentina. She was born and raised in San Diego California. Tulloch is known as Bitsie that isn't a diminutive of her real name Elizabeth however it is a tribute to her strangely-named grandfather, a World War II bomber pilot who was also part of the fatal 1961 Goldsboro B-52 accident. Tulloch was named Bitsie at the time she started acting. It was her name until the year 2017, at which point she switched to Elizabeth. To people that I meet, I continue to introduce myself by the name of Bitsie. The name worked for me as I started acting in my early 20s. And now Im in my mid-30s and I felt that for the sake of billing, I wanted to go back to Elizabeth. In the time I made a film, the thought never even crossed my mind. The producer said "Hey we have seen Elizabeth as we completed your legal paperwork." Do you want to invoice this way? When I sat down to consider it I contacted my manager and agent. Both said yes. The time has come to change your age. Also, Bitsie is evidently a adorable name. Its cutesy. It's what it was all about. Elizabeth wasn't my name to introduce myself. Billing is the only reason for this. Tulloch possesses both Scottish and Spanish family heritage. Tulloch has stated her first mother tongue was Spanish although she no longer considers herself completely fluent. Her paternal grandmothers family is located in Renfrewshire and her family of grandparents was from the area of Kirkwall both in Scotland. In an interview for BBC News, she stated that the Tullochs first arrived in the US in 1880. And the Kerrs were among them at the beginning of the century. Following her return in the U.S., she went to Bedford New York for middle and secondary school. Tulloch was a graduate of magna cumlaude in Harvard University with a double major in English as well as American Literature and Visual and Environmental Studies.
