Zazie was the daughter of a German cabinet maker from Berlin in Germany, around 1991. Her father was a German Cabinet Maker who came to live into America. United States following the fall of the Berlin Wall. She graduated from that same school as Jennifer Aniston. After graduating from LaGuardia, Beetz went on to study French at Skidmore College. Beetz immediately began auditioning after college and landed the role of Van on the set of Atlanta. Beetz was born to a German father as well as an African American mother from Berlin and was born within New York and spoke German as well as English. Zazie has been involved in acting since childhood, and has worked in numerous community theaters. Zendaya's Disney Channel Breakout Role Zendaya's dance abilities definitely paid off. Her casting was finalized for her debut role of Rocky Blue, along with co-star Bella Thorne, on the popular series Shake It Up. Zendaya, then 11, went vegetarian after seeing an animal slaughterhouse during an excursion with her father. PEOPLE reports that Zendaya said, "I found it horrifying to see every animal being put inside, awaiting for their time to die." The fact that this was the way I got my food was shocking to me. Since then, she's stayed with a vegetarian diet.
